FUNDRAISING

Epsom RDA is entirely funded by donations and our own fundraising efforts. We do not receive any funding from national or local government sources, or from our National Association.  Our day to day running costs are approximately over £6,000 a month mainly for maintaining our buildings and land, caring for the ponies, paying utility bills for water and electricity and insurance premiums

We hold a variety of fundraising events during the year to help us meet these costs including;

  • Dressage competitions and clinics
  • Barn dance
  • Fireworks barbecue
  • Quiz night

Adopt a Pony

Our Adopt a Pony scheme gives you the opportunity to adopt one of our ponies for a year. The adoption package includes a photograph of your choosen pony, a newsletter, a birthday card and an opportunity to visit your pony and receive a tour of our stables. More information is available on the Adopt a Pony page.

Community Partnerships

As well as individual donations we always welcome opportunities to build partnerships with businesses and other organisations in the local community. These community partnerships are vital to enable us to continue to give our riders the opportunity to ride to benefit their health and well-being, have fun and achieve their ambitions. As a local charity, the support of our local community is greatly valued by our riders,their families and carers, and our volunteers.

More information about the opportunities available are detailed on the
Community Partnerships page. We also welcome new ideas and fundraising initiatives so if you have a idea for a fundraising event or partnership please contact us and we will be more than happy to discuss your ideas. Our contact details are on the
Contact Us page.

Trusts and Foundations

We are planning to further develop our facilities to increase the opportunities for disabled people to ride with us. This will involve a number of special projects which are suitable for funding by Trusts and Foundations. Further information is available on our Trusts and Foundations page.
